Voli in codeshare
Your journey doesn't end with us - it's just the beginning. Through our airline partnerships, we connect you to destinations beyond our own network, all on a single booking.
Codeshare & Interline
Two types of partnership that extend your travel options through Cyprus Airways.
A codeshare flight carries a Cyprus Airways flight number but is operated by one of our partner airlines. You book it through us, it appears on your CY itinerary, and everything is on one ticket.
- One simple booking — no separate tickets needed
- Smoother connections with coordinated schedules
- Your bags travel with you to your final destination
- If something changes, we’re here to help
You’ll see “Operated by [Partner Airline]” when booking, so you always know who’s flying you.
An interline agreement lets you book a journey that combines a Cyprus Airways flight with another airline’s flight — even when it’s not a codeshare. Your itinerary is coordinated and your bags can be checked through.
- Fly with us to a hub, then continue with a partner airline
- Coordinated schedules for shorter layovers
- Through-checked baggage where available
- One journey across multiple airlines
Partner Airlines
We work with trusted airlines to connect you to destinations beyond our own network.
From the shores of Cyprus to cities across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond - our airline partnerships take you further. Visit our Partners page for the full list of codeshare and interline partners, the routes they cover, and what each partnership means for your journey.
View PartnersWhat Applies on Partner-Operated Flights
When your flight is operated by a partner airline, their rules and service standards apply - even if you booked through Cyprus Airways. Here's what to check.
The operating airline's baggage rules apply - allowances, fees, and size limits may differ from Cyprus Airways. Check when booking.
Seat types, entertainment, dining and cabin service are provided by the operating airline and may differ from the Cyprus Airways experience.
Check-in procedures and timings are set by the operating airline. Online check-in may be available through the partner's website or app.
Travelling with Special Needs on Codeshare
Some of our special services are only available on Cyprus Airways-operated flights. Here's what to check.
The Cyprus Airways UM service is only available on flights operated by Cyprus Airways — not on codeshare or partner flights. If your child’s flight is operated by a partner, contact that airline directly for their UM policies and fees.
bambini che viaggiano da soli →Pet policies, fees, and carrier requirements are set by the operating airline. If your flight is operated by a partner, contact them directly — rules on cabin pets, hold pets, and accepted animals may differ.
Viaggiare con gli animali domestici →If you need wheelchair assistance, guide dog accommodation, medical equipment, or any other special support on a codeshare flight, please let us know when booking. We'll coordinate with the operating airline to arrange the help you need. For the best experience, request special services at least 48 hours before departure.

Everything else you might want to know about codeshare flights.
- How do I know if my flight is a codeshare?+
When you search for flights on our website, codeshare flights will show “Operated by [Partner Airline]” next to the flight details. Your booking confirmation and e-ticket will also clearly indicate the operating carrier. If you’re unsure, contact us and we’ll confirm.
- Which baggage rules apply on a codeshare flight?+
The operating airline’s baggage rules apply — including allowances, fees, size limits, and handling of delayed, damaged, or missing baggage. These may differ from Cyprus Airways policies. We recommend checking the operating airline’s baggage policy when you book. See our Baggage page for more details.
- Can I check in online for a codeshare flight?+
Online check-in for codeshare flights is typically handled through the operating airline’s website or app. Check your booking confirmation for instructions, or contact us if you’re unsure which airline to check in with.
- What if my codeshare flight is delayed or cancelled?+
If your flight is disrupted, you can contact either Cyprus Airways or the operating airline for help. Since you booked through us, we'll work with the partner to rebook you or arrange alternatives. Your passenger rights under EU Regulation 261/2004 may apply depending on the route and operating carrier.
- Can I earn miles on codeshare flights?+
Mileage earning on codeshare flights depends on the partnership agreement and the frequent flyer programme you’re enrolled in. Contact us for details on whether your specific flight qualifies for mileage accrual.
- What is the difference between codeshare and interline?+
A codeshare flight carries a Cyprus Airways flight number but is operated by a partner airline. An interline journey combines flights from different airlines on coordinated tickets, with each flight keeping its own airline’s flight number. Both can offer coordinated travel across airlines, but only codeshare flights appear under a Cyprus Airways flight number in the booking system.
